    June 3 - June 9

    Show your love for Burnsville with friends, family and neighbors. The week includes an adventure run, appliance and electronics drop-off day, skateboard contest, park opening, the ever-popular Friday Fest and much more!

  2. I Love Burnsville Adventure Run

    June 3, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

    The newest addition to the Ground Pounders Running Series is the I Love Burnsville Adventure Run in partnership with Buck Hill. This run/hike will bring participants up and around Buck Hill with views that will leave them breathless. This adventure course is for everyone – from experienced runners to families looking for some fun. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 8 and under; 9-11; 12-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+. To preregister visit www.burnsville.org/recreation or register on-site the morning of the race.

  4. Minnesota Riverfront Park Grand Opening

    June 3, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Minnesota Riverfront Park

    Join the City of Burnsville, Dakota County, Xcel Energy and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to officially open Minnesota Riverfront Park and the new 3.75-mile Black Dog Segment of the Minnesota River Greenway trail through the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The event will include a program and ribbon cutting, refreshments and activities for the whole family. Bring your bicycles, scooters and other non-motorizes vehicles to explore the trail.
