  1. Developmental Hockey Ice

    April 10, 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM @ Burnsville Ice Center

    This hockey ice time offers skaters an opportunity to work on their skills either individually or through private lessons with an instructor or coach. On ice supervision is required for skaters 17 years of age and younger. The coach / instructor does not need to pay the admission fee but is entirely responsible to ensure that each of their skaters has paid before taking the ice. Skaters 18 and older are required to wear a helmet and skaters 17 and younger are required to wear full hockey gear. Please check the website for additional rules and guidelines.

    Adult Open Hockey is for skaters 18 years of age and older only. Helmets are required, and all other equipment is optional. We take up to 30 skaters and 3 goalies.

    These sessions are for hockey skaters of any age to come and skate with sticks & pucks! Come work on your skating skills, drills & stick handling. All equipment is required for any skater 17 & under. Helmets are required for any skater 18 & older. Scrimmages, games, & lessons are not allowed at any time.

  1. Landscaping for Clean Water Workshop

    April 10, 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM @ Diamondhead Education Center, Savage Room (enter through door no. 1, east side of the building)

    Dakota County residents are once again invited to attend an introductory class. The workshop provides tips and tricks on creating native gardens, rain gardens and shoreline stabilization projects. Participants will also see examples of how others in the community have created gardens that benefit local water quality and help provide much-needed habitat for pollinators.
