Primary Services
- The primary services provided by in the area of Economic Development include:
- Support to the Burnsville Economic Development Authority (EDA)
- Support to the Economic Development Commission (EDC)
- Administration of the City’s Tax Increment Financing Districts & Project Areas
- Administer financial incentives to encourage business development
- Promote balanced development and job creation
- Monitor the cross-divisional development review work team as an active participant
- Advocate for business within the boundaries of City Council policy
