The City of Burnsville offers a variety of opportunities for youth of all ages to stay active and healthy. Weather on the court or on the playground, youth can participate in activities that will keep them engaged all year long.

Summer junior golf leagues are available at Birnamwood Golf Course for youth entering grades 3-10. Youth are also welcome to enter the I Love Burnsville Week Golf Tournament and the Fire Muster Junior Golf Tournament.
Treats, stories, face painting and costumed characters are a part of this family-friendly event held in October. View the
Kids of Summer and Camp X-Treme
Kids of Summer (KOS) and Camp X-Treme are playground programs involving games, sports, arts and crafts, water games, field trips, special events and an end-of-summer carnival. Programs are available for ages 4-5, 6-11 and 9-12. Passes can be purchased for the summer, week or day.
Footwork and fundamentals are taught through daily instructional drills and exercises. Multiple sessions and times are available. Ages 4-6.
Join Independent School District 191's elementary principals as they read some great books before the summer
Thursday Rockin' Lunch Hour
concerts. Books are geared toward elementary and preschool children.
Lessons and a tournament are available for kids interested in tennis. Lessons are offered in multiple sessions and times. Lessons are for ages 6-16 and the tournament is open for ages 6-18.
THE GARAGE is the City's youth recreation center. It offers after school and summer programs for youth in middle and high school. It also operates as an all-ages music venue on the weekends.
