The Burnsville Softball Council is a 5-9 member working/advisory committee to the Burnsville softball league director. The group is comprised of individuals with a passion for softball who meet 3 to 4 times a year for 1-2 hours to discuss administrative items as they relate to improving the overall softball program. In addition to the meetings, there are also three volunteer events a year that board members assist with (Summer Softball Managers Meeting, National Qualifier Tournament, Team Appreciation Night).

These were the scheduled meetings and events for 2010. 2011 dates will be decided soon:

Feb meeting:
2012 spring/summer planning meeting (review website, rules, changes, tournaments, etc.)

April meeting:
2012 spring/summer managers meeting (assist with equipment distribution) - April 5th Burnsville City Hall 6:30 - 9:00

May meeting:
Start of the season review and Qualifier planning meeting - May 22nd - Carbones (160th) - 7:00 - 8:30p

June meeting Lac Lavon Fields:
Annual 1 Day D National Qualifier and Recreational Tournament - June 2nd - All Day Event

July meeting:
End of the season review, Fall season planning and Team Appreciation Night planning meeting - TBD

August meeting 6:00 - 9:00 - Lac Lavon Fields:
Team Appreciation Night
