What We Do

The Burnsville Forestry Department is responsible for maintaining trees within City parks and along boulevard right-of-ways

Forestry staff are tree care professionals with ISA Arborist Certification, membership in the Minnesota Society of Arboriculture, and MN Tree Inspector Certification.

EAB has been confirmed in Burnsville.

Property owners should decide now what to do with their ash trees on their private property. If you want to protect your ash tree from Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), you can take advantage of 2018 City contract pricing from Rainbow Tree Care. Their rate for Burnsville residents is $5.75 per inch diameter. To learn more, call Rainbow Tree Care at (952) 767-6920.

Learn more about EAB on our Emerald Ash Borer Information web page.
